XRAY EYEBALLS
This is my newest band, started off with OJ and Carly from Golden Triangle as some demo project, but turned into a real band when Jack (ex-Black Lips) and I joined to do drums and synths. OJ sings and plays guitar with Carly on bass and Jab on vocals.

NECKING
Necking has been around for over 5 years, started out as a drums duo between Nick and Dong, then later on added a revolving door of noisemakers and musicians filling in to accompany both drummers. The last couple of years, we stayed as a quintet with me on bass/homemade instruments/vox, Daniel on guitar, Dong on drums and Nick on drums and vocals. What people dont know about the band is that its always improvised. Necking has never ever practiced or got together to practice any songs, which can complicate recordings.

RICE
This is the newest incarnation of RICE with me on vocals, Daniel (Battleship) on guitars, Aleks (Battleship) on bass and Julian (FIASCO) on drums. Original version of Rice existed from 1991 to 1993 with me on vocals, along with Carlos, who joined me in the Peechees, now in Love or Perish, on bass. Jason from Aspects of Physics/Three mile pilot on guitars, and Matt anderson on drums, who started Gravity Records and sang for Heroin. We also had the future horn section of Rocket From the Crypt. Yeah, Hardcore band with horns. We put out a couple 7" vinyls on Vinyl communication and put out a best of on lookout records. In case you have yet picked up on the pun, Rice is all about the grain we eat called RICE, every song directly has meanings to the struggle for, and the survival of different cultures directly connected to the cultivation of RICE.

I have joined and started so many bands since coming to America in 1987 as a teenager. I've always wanted to try to scan all the 7" vinyl and LPS/CDs/Cassettes and compilations that most the bands made it too, I guess in due time. for now follow the link below to check out some MP3s from some of my known old bands in the 90s and early 2000.

I'm putting up some of the remixes I did through the years, starting w/ the recent ones. I'm also going to up the "Satellite Transmission" remixes which was Murder City Devil (this was given an Cease & Deceased by Subpop in 2000),The Make-up and Cars Get Crushed. And if I can find it, I'll also drop the Lo-Hi remixes that came out w/ their japanese release CD in 1999, as well as some really old remixes from 95-98, that ranges from Elliot Smith to Kathleen Hanna to Oval to Sea and Cake to Tortoise to Tristeza. I just need to find the masters for it..

Roxy Pain was a Brooklyn death/newwave/punk band, named after the artist of the same name, OJ (xray eyeballs/Golden Triangle) played guitar in this with Wolfie (Red Dawn II) and Kayrock, who runs Kayrock screenprinting. Also on this recording was Seth of electro dance band, Dynasty, and Katie from Young People. This came out as an 12", I did 5 different takes of their cover of Wham's "Careless Whisper", w/ parts from The Fall thrown in...

Really cool ex-Brooklyn duo/now in LA of Rob and Mary. I've known Rob for so many years since he used to live 2 blocks from me in fort Greene. High Places uses a lot of contact mics to make folksy music, cool angelic voice, but you wont hear that with this remix, its been roptofied, 2 different takes on their song Dudes Incorporated! from 2007.
